A report has just released called Toronto as a Global City - Scorecard on Prosperity. This report comes from the Toronto Board of Trade, which is Canada's largest local Chamber of Commerce. Data for the report was compiled from 25 specific indicators for the Toronto Region and 20 other International Metropolitan Areas. Overall Toronto ranked tied for 4th place, and received a C rating.
