Westmount is a popular Oakville neighbourhood.  The area is situated in Northwest Oakville and is located within the followiing boundaries.  Upper Middle Road to the south, Dundas St. (Highway #5) to the north, Third Line to the East and Bronte Road to the west.

This area consists of a mixture of detached and semi-detached homes along with freehold and condo townhomes.  New schools are in place and shopping and other amenities are close by.  Westmount is serviced by the West Oakville (Bronte) GO station.  Oakville Transit has established some revised bus routes in the area. 

This neighbourhood has an abundance of playgrounds, ravines and bike trails.   The Ciry of Oakville has started construction on the new home of a state of the art hospital on the grounds on the north side of Dundas near 3rd Line.

The City has planned for rejuvenating the historic Town of Palermo, allowing builders with vision and appropriate design residential and commercial development in the immediate area of Dundas and Hwy 25 (Bronte Rd.)
